Bruce Dean Anderson, 71, of 103 Indian Springs Drive, went to his heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 11, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Pontiac, Mich., he was the son of the late Emil and Elvadean Sugg Anderson. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and was a graduate of Bob Jones University, Class of 1961. He was retired from the Greenville County Special Needs and Disabilities Board.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Spearman Anderson; an adopted daughter, Vicki Taylor; a sister-in-law, Sue Barker Anderson; two nieces, Laura Fitch and Mari Anderson; and a nephew, Brian Anderson. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Anderson.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of his church, Trinity Bible Church, 205 N. Suber Road, Greer, SC 29651.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at the residence.
