Lawrence L. Anderson was a loving father and husband. He was a teacher, mentor, leader and friend. Although he may not have made a lot of money or had worldly possessions, his character, his loyalty and his courage to defend his family at all costs made him rich in life. Of all of the famous names I can think of for a hero, his name always comes to mind first. He was my best friend, my pal, my buddy, and above all else, my hero. There will never be another man like him in the world. How do I know this? I am his only son. Regardless of where life takes me, dad, I hope you can find something to be proud of me for. Love forever. Mom, Maribeth, Lauralyn and I all love you and miss you still.
