Gleed Miller was the the only child of Glen Lewis & Elizabeth Mead Miller. As a 13 year old, he was granted an Emergency Passport for the purpose of studying abroad in Paris. He was married for a period of time and had a daughter named after her mother, Zane. During the Depression, Gleed was an insurance executive who bought a property called "Log Haven" and turned it into a year-round residence. In 1946 he married Martha Ann Corbitt [Chapman.] Gleed was in a rest home as he had been ill for many years and died at the age of 82.
