Wilna was a homemaker and the center of her family. I was her daughter in law and she welcomed me into the family as if I had always belonged there. She was funny, very artistic, and later in life took up the hobby of China Painting and gave beautiful pieces of artwork to her family. I own some today and cherish them.
She was a life long member of the Weber Road Church of Christ in Corpus Christi, Texas, and her family was one of the founding members of that church. She will always be missed by me. She was not only my mother-in-law, she was my friend. There was no greater honor in my life.
