Anna was born in Scioto County, Ohio May 26, 1926, to Cecil V. and Opal Grizzel Hilliard, the second of seven children.

She is predeceased by siblings Wanda Hilliard, Vaughden Hall, Patricia Gifford, David Hilliard and her true love, former husband Ellis Adams.

Surviving are her children Barbara, Deborah & Robert (Peg) Adams; grandchildren, Ronald (Kerry) Cooper, David (Margaret) Cooper, Luke (Breanne) Adams, Katie Adams; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Cooper and Kilian Adams.
Ann had a passion for helping and serving others. Aside from her family, she was frequently helping others, even earning her Citizen of the Year in Yuciapa, CA for her work with Meals on Wheels. She will be missed by many.
There was a memorial gathering of family & friends at her home in Yuciapa on January 9. Plans are being made for the interment of her ashes this summer near Portsmouth, Ohio.
