In Giles County, TN on 29 October 1856 Andrew Clark of Hardin County, TN appointed William Cole as his attorney "to receive for me a sum of money from the hands of the Clerk and Master of the Chancery Court of Giles County, Tennessee coming to me from the estate of my brother John Clark deceased". The Whig and Tribune newspaper from Jackson, TN dated Saturday, 05 April 1873 states "Mr. Andrew Clark, aged 91 years, was found dead in his orchard, a few days ago in Hardin county".
Andrew married a woman named Rebecca who appears to have died prior to the 1860 census. They had the following children: Thomas M.; William W.; Lucinda G.; Mary A. and Andrew J. Clark.
