Funeral services for Agnes M. Bayles, 92, of Reeds Spring, will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan 3, 2007, at the Brownstown First United Methodist Church, in Brownstown, Ill., with Rev. Paul Brown and Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Griffith Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Claggett Funeral Home, in Brownstown.

She died Dec. 26, 2006, at Wedgewood Gardens, in Hollister.
She was born in Brownstown, Ill., daughter of George Peter and Minnie Catherine (Sefton) Rigdon. She married R. Warren Bayles in 1935. She co-owned Brownstown Lumber Co., was a member of First United Methodist Church, and Golden Rule Chapter of the Eastern Star, past president of the United Methodist Women, and taught junior high Sunday school, all in Brownstown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Clark Warren Bayles; daughter Christie Lynn; two grandchildren; sisters, Erma Virt, and Hazel Watts; brothers, Clem, Clyde, Clay, Donald and Darrel "Buss" Rigdon.

Survivors include her daughter, Catherine E. Hayes, and husband, Jerry, of Kimberling City; three grandsons, and eight great-grandchildren.
