She was born in Rutherford County, NC, daughter of the late Roy Logan and Pinkie Lee Fortenberry Hardin and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Billy Gene Allen. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Forrest Gold Hardin. Betty retired from Blacksburg Floor Covering. She was a Charter Member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church where she served more than 40 years as a Sunday School teacher and sang in the church choir. Betty enjoyed working puzzle books and babysitting her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. Her dedication to her church family was evident by the love she has for them. Betty was a wonderful person whose love and spirit will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her.
SURVIVORS: Sons: Ricky Allen (Joyce), Grover, NC, and Timmy Allen (Dena), Kings Mountain, NC
Grandchildren: Ricky Shane Allen (Lee Ann), Jenna Allen Ross (Styx), and Tyler Mark Allen (Meagan)

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Allen Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Hardin and Dr. Albert Hardin officiating
VISITATION: Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at the church
INTERMENT: Allen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover, NC
