REGINA LUBARSKI
May 1, 1923 - June 16, 2010
Regina passed away peacefully at the age of 87, with the comfort that her closest family and friends had her in their thoughts and prayers. Regina will join her husband, Julian who predeceased her in 1985. Regina will be lovingly remembered by her son Richard, daughter Teresa (Scott), grandchildren Alexis, Nicole and Quinton.
Regina leaves behind many who will be forever impacted by her zest for life and her true spirit of selflessness. She was a very patient, loving and generous person who enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. Her greatest joy in life was helping her family and friends in any way she could, especially her grandchildren. Babcia was relentless in her dedication to her grandchildren, she tended to their every need and was a significant influence in who they have become today. Special thanks to the staff of Riverview Hospital (3E) for their tender treatment of Mom in her final days.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Regina's favourite place of prayer, Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. on Saturday, June 19, with viewing at 9:30 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Regina's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
