Stephen Allen Shepard married Sarah West on Aug 30, 1868 in Sullivan County, Missouri. He was born in Monroe County, Missouri Aug. 20, 1850, the son of Hayden Shepard's (memorial # 58675945) and his mother Sarah Brown Shepard (# 58675859 ). He died in Great Bend, Barton, Kansas on Nov. 19, 1903. Leaving Mo. as a young man he went to Ca. briefly and then on to Kansas. Married twice. He had 5 children by his first wife Sarah and 1 daughter by his second. He was a photographer. I do not know where he is buried to make a memorial.
