Though little is recorded of her early life, she was born Sandra Perley and made her television debut in a 1969 episode of "The Outsider". Sandy went on to appear in such fare of the day as "Longstreet" and "Mannix", made her silver screen bow in the 1972 "Stand Up and Be Counted", and also in 1972 had probably her best known film role as Charlotte in "Last of the Red Hot Lovers". She was seen in "This is a Hijack" and earned praise for her work in "Cry Rape" (both 1973) and appeared in a number of small screen series, among them "Baretta", "Kojak", "Marcus Welby, M.D.", "Cannon", "Emergency!", "Barnaby Jones", and "Quincy, M.E.". Sandy earned her final credit in 1980 on "Eight Is Enough", but remained active. Following the death of her first husband Daniel Balson she married her second, Alfred Goldman, and was for many years a sought-after party arranger while keeping busy with a number of charitable projects. She lived out her days in Los Angeles; at her demise a number of her performances were preserved on DVD.
