Information from an obituary in an unspecified (Batavia?) newspaper dated November 13, 1909, follows:

"Thomas A. Healy, Former Resident of Batavia Died at His Home in Buffalo: Thomas A. Healy, a former Batavian and well known here, died at his home, No. 382 Myrtle Avenue, Buffalo, yesterday. He had suffered for a long time with cancer, which caused his death.

Mr. Healy was born in Batavia about 45 years ago. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Healy, formerly of this place. The family lived on Bank Street, but moved to Buffalo about 15 years ago. The deceased was a railroad man. He is survived by his wife, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elbridge G. Pratt of No. 1 Walnut Street, Batavia; a daughter, Laura; four brothers, John James B., Michael and Joseph A., and two sisters, Miss Delia Healy and Mrs. A. W. Turner, all of Buffalo. Mr. and Mrs. Turner only recently returned from San Francisco, CA., where they had lived about seven years, to make their home in Buffalo again.

Mr. Healy had a host of friends who will mourn his untimely death. The funeral probably will be held on Monday."
