She is interred next to her husband, John Allen Mette in family burial plot. Three of their eight children, Albert Blatchford Mette, Victor D. Mette and Norman Royal Mette are also interred in family plot.

Mrs. Cecil Geneva Mette of 2448 Ashley River Road, Pierpont, widow of John A. Mette died Monday at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., tomorrow at Stuhr's North Area Chapel. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.

Mrs. Mette was born March 18, 1884 in Athens, Ga., a daughter of William Wesley Royal and Mrs. Evelyn Bailey Royal. She was an Episcopalian.

Surviving are four daughters. Mrs. Charles Cooper of North Charleston, Mrs. Anton Strezlec of Pierpont, Mrs. Thomas Bailey of Sandhurst, Mrs. Gerald McEwen of Ardmore; two sons, John W. Mette of Yemassee and Norman R. Mette of Pierpont; a sister, Mrs Mary E. Lavender of Florida; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
