OBITUARY:

Mr. and Mrs. William Fenstermaker, of Maple Grove, while living with their son, Edwin, formerly of Rittenhouse Gap, died of cerebral apoplexy and cerebral hemorrhage but 22 hours apart.

Mrs. Fenstermaker died on November 8 at 4 a.m, aged 72 years; her husband died on November 9, at 1.30 a.m., in his 74th year.

Mr. Fenstermaker was a son of Jacob Fenstermaker and wife Maria (nee Meyer). He was born December 11, 1848 in Longswamp. He was baptized May 5, 1849, by Rev. Isaac Roeller. The sponsors were Frederick Loreman and wife Elizabeth. Both were confirmed in Huff's Church in early life by Rev. I. Roeller.

They were married November 24, 1871, by Rev. Herman, in Reading.

The following children remain: Martha, wife of Penrose Conrad, Alburtis; William and Edwin, Maple Grove; and Cora, wife of William Meck, of Longswamp; two brothers, Alvin F., of Longswamp, and Jacob, of Guth Station.

Mrs. Fenstermaker was a daughter of She was born March 17, 1851 in Longswamp, baptized May 18, 1851, by Rev. I. Roeller. The sponsor was Elizabeth Reinert. She was the last of her family to depart from this life.

The services were held at the residence of the son, Edwin, Rev. W. F. Bond officiating. Interment was made at Huff's Church cemetery.
