Brittani was like the sunshine, like the wind, and the rain. Like most of us, she had days of no sunshine; but Brittani wouldn't let anyone see her unhappy and always maintained a great attitude. She was funny, had a laugh no one could forget once you heard it, and had a smile that would just make you smile. She always wanted the best for everyone. She never put herself first because it wasn't who she was.
Growing up, Brittani wasn't always as girlie as she was in her adult years. As a child she was a tomboy at heart. Brittani and her brother grew up riding ATVs and playing in the mud. Brittani used to ride out with her brother and see who could get the most mud on them; they would be out all day and night enjoying each other and having fun. She and her brother Tim were close their entire lives and shared a very special bond.
Brittani was a beach bum all the way. She loved the sand, the water, and the sun. It was her personal getaway when she wanted to relax, and she just watched the waves roll in and out. As her brother and a lot of her close friends know, she was a Hello Kitty fanatic. She had Hello Kitty jewelry, towels, blankets, purses, bathing suits, shoes, and clothing. She always would stop and look at anything Hello Kitty and wonder if she should add it to her collection.
Brittani was also a Miami Heat fan. She would go to basketball games with her friends and tailgate and make great memories. She liked the feeling of being close to something so real. She was a fun girl to be friends with, and anyone who was fortunate enough to be friends with her was lucky indeed. We will all forever miss her, forever remember her, forever love her, and forever keep her in our hearts.
Brittani was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Doll.
Brittani is survived by her father Thermon Gay, Jr., of West Palm Beach; brother Tim of Royal Palm Beach; and her beautiful daughter Angie.
Brittani's ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Palm West Funeral Home located on 441/SR7 and Business Parkway. The address is 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m.
