A native of Colmesneil, Texas, she was a lifelong resident of Nederland. Helen was born on March 5, 1924 to her parents Roddy and Estelle (James) Moore who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her husband George Hallmark, two brothers Buster Moore, Jack Moore, 2 sisters Hazel Mae Wigley and Guyanell Hughes.
Helen was a telephone PBX operator for Lamar University during her professional working years. She was a faithful member of the Groves Community Seventh Day Adventist Church. For hobbies, she enjoyed all types of gardening, crocheting, bowling on Joanne's Beauty Salon Team, utilizing her lifetime membership for exercising at Curves, taking vacations especially those at JoAnne's and Buddy's beach cabin which allowed her to fish and therefore was known affectionately as "fisherwoman". She was an avid supporter of the South Park Greenies.
Surviving Helen are her sons, Johnny Fore and his wife Liz, Lloyd Fore and his wife Michelle; two daughters Rononna Williams and her husband J.D. and Donalyn O'Quinn and her husband L.T.; one brother, Ken Moore and wife Linda; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
