Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Grant, 91, of 215 E. Groesbeck St. are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Stewart Clendenin will officiate and interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Grant died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness. She was born February 25, 1875 at Rusk and had resided in Lufkin for 60 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include sister, Mrs. Kate Cochran; step-sons, Dr. George Grant and Hugh Sidney Grant; nephew, James LeRoy Robardey.
