Funera services will be held at 2 pm Saturday for Mrs. Serena V. Branham, 96, who died Thursday in her residence at 215 Groesbeck following a brief illness.
Rites will be held at the residence and Rev. R. C. Terry and Dr. Guy Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Branham was born May 15, 1853 in Macon, GA, and had resided in Lufkin for many years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include sisters, Ada B. Grant of Lufkin, Kate Cochran of Lufkin and Maggie Patterson of Cuero, LA; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
