Edna Bell Kidd, age 84, of Portland, passed away August 19, 2009. She was born in Fentress County on March 26, 1925, to the late Harrison and Deliah Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kidd. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Harold) Knight of Portland, Joy (Michael) Wheeler of Cookeville; sons, Ralph W. (Cherry) Kidd of White House, Ronnie (Suzanne) Kidd of White House; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Maxine Sampson of Soddy Daisy, Tenn. Visitation is 12 p.m., until 9 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2009. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with members of the family officiating. Interment is at Portland Memorial Gardens. Family Members to serve as pallbearers. Honorary bearer is Kenny Morris.
