Services for Willie E. Boone, 66, of Cuero will be conducted at Freund Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. L. C. Barnett, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. Boone died at home Thursday.
He was born at Hope, in Lavaca County, Sept. 18, 1909, son of Jack and Mary Cobel Boone. He married Ethel Cady in Cuero Dec. 14, 1935.
Survivors are the wife, three daughters, Mrs. Melvin Schroeter of Victoria, Mrs. Ernest Hermes of San Antonio and Mrs. Roman Buzek of Yoakum, the parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack K. Boone of Cuero; two brothers, E. E. Boone of Cuero and Ray Boone of Rockport; three sisters, Mrs. George Benningfield of Rockport and Mrs. Otis May and Mrs. Jesse Taylor of Cuero; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Boone was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Walter Rickman.
