1910 U. S. Census for Franklin, Johnson County:
Joseph Simpson 37, and wife Sena Simpson, 29.

1920 U. S. Census for Franklin, Johnson County:
J. W. Simpson, 47, wife Sena 39, and daughter Myron Simpson, 9. Also living with them is Lydia A. Gillespie, 69, mother of Sena.

1930 U. S. Census for Franklin, Johnson County:
Joseph W. Simpson 56, wife Sena 48, and daughter Myron Simpson, 19.

1940 U. S. Census for Franklin, Johnson County:
Joseph W. Simpson, 67, and wife Sena A. Simpson, 57.

Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 4651, for Franklin, Johnson County, records that Sena A. Simpson, white female, age 61y, 8m, 13ds, and married to Joseph, died about 7 p. m. on February 13, 1942 in Franklin. The cause of death was "Coronary Occlusion", due to "Chronic Myocarditis." She was the daughter of James M. Gillaspy, and Lydia Doty, both born in Indiana. The informant was her husband Joseph, and she was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Johnson County on February 15, 1942, Flinn Funeral Home, in charge.
