Simpson, white female, age 61y, 8m, 13ds, and married to Joseph, died about 7 p. m. on February 13, 1942 in Franklin. The cause of death was "Coronary Occlusion", due to "Chronic Myocarditis." She was the daughter of James M. Gillaspy, and Lydia Doty, both born in Indiana. The informant was her husband Joseph, and she was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Johnson County on February 15, 1942, Flinn Funeral Home, in charge.
