Karlos Bill Kothman, 73, left us Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013. He was born Oct. 18, 1939. He was a graduate of Schreiner Institute in Kerrville, Texas. He married Sheba Kay Morrison, his wife of 52 years, on Oct. 22, 1960. KB's heart was in ranching. He was a man of God. He loved his family, his land, livestock, hunting, fishing, reading and watching Westerns.

He will be missed by his surviving family: wife Sheba Kay; son Kenn Kothman and wife Kimberly; granddaughters Kyann, Kolby and Keyla; nephew Lex Kothman; nieces LeeAnna Caveness and Lisa Coots; and many extended family members. He was greeted in Heaven by his father, Karl; mother Mary Lee; sister Mary Anna Parker; and son Kade Kothman.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Mason Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at River of Life Church in Mason. Refreshments will follow at the church. A private family burial will be held in Gooch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Matheny, Billy Kothmann, Jim Bill Kothmann, Juan Cardoza, Skily Schuch, Charlie Reichenau, Jay Schovajsa, David Young and Mike Hollar. Honorary pallbearers will be Roddie Stockbridge, Vance Cobb, Keith and Terry Watkins, Wayne Davis, Mike Kelly, Pinkie Carruthers, James Colliouette, Donnie Stockbidge, Denver Stockbridge, Reggie Loeffler, Bob Al Hofmann, Wayne Lehmberg, Jim Schmidt, Corky Eckert, Ken Bode, Jim Bob Smith, Lex and Otto Lehmberg, David Jones, Raymond Brandenberger, Gibert Bell, Billy Karl Johnson, Gary Zesch and Clinton Gamel. We will miss KB's colorful personality. He will live on through our memories and stories that friends and family will always cherish. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to River of Life Church Mason, Texas; West Texas Boys Ranch; Western World Missions; and Int. Western World Outreach Center.
