SHOPS THIRTY YEARS - NA-
TIVE OF LOCKPORT,

John Slocombe, who was for 22 years,
school attendance officer of Lockport,
died at his late residence No. 102 Good-

his duties until Thanksgiving Day.
Mr. Slocombe was born in Lockport,
learned the trade of machinist at the
old Holly shops and was employed there
for over thirty years previous to assum-

kindly administered his duties and many
youngsters no doubt, later thanked him
for his faithfulness and persevering ac-
