Mrs. Emma Tobey, wife of Frank E. Tobey, died Saturday evening at 10:30 o'clock at her home, 272 1/2 Waugoo street. She had been ill about six weeks.
Mrs. Tobey was born at Ripon, Aug 28, 1875. Her parents came to Oshkosh when she was 8 years old and she had lived in this city since that time. She was married to Mr. Tobey, June 1, 1918, in Oshkosh.
Survivors are her husband; six sisters and a brother, Mrs. H. J. New, Milwaukee; Mrs. G. A. Pueppke and Mrs. H. W. Hooseman, of Oshkosh; Mrs. E. O. Mix, Milwaukee; William Daniels, Oshkosh; Mrs. Tillie Arndt, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Edward Newton, Oshkosh. There are also a number of nephews and nieces surviving.
Mrs. Tobey was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daniels.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Marquardt funeral home. The Rev. Edward R. Wicklund, pastor of St. John's English Lutheran church, will be the officiating clergyman. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery. Those wishing to view the remains may do so at the funeral home this afternoon and until the time of the services.
