MUNCIE--Elizabeth M. Cook, 80, died at her residence Sunday evening following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Muncie, she was the daughter of James L. and Ada Lucinda (Batt) Walling. Mrs. Cook attended Muncie schools and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Eldon and Russell; three daughters, Veda, Jo, and Pat; a brother, Marvin Walling; Mrs. Cook's caregiver, Phyllis; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cook's husband, Russell R. Cook, Sr., two brothers, Don Walling and Junior Walling, and a sister, Mary Turner, are deceased.
Servcies will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary with Rev. George Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday.
