BAKERSFIELD CALIFORNIAN, May 31, 1989
CECCARELLI, TERESA - Rosary will be recited followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 1st at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for Teresa Ceccarelli, 98, who passed away May 29th in Bakersfield. Msgr. Alfonso Simon will officiate with interment following in Union Cemetery. Mrs. Ceccarelli, born in Tassignano, Lucca, Italy, had resided in Bakersfield since 1921 and was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, Lodge #33.
Survivors include her grandson, Michael Busby of Riverside; nephews, Gino, Marino (Red) and Tony Ceccarelli of Bakersfield, and Johnny Ceccarelli of San Jose; nieces, Julia DiGiovanni of San Clemente, Rosa Pecchia of Sunnyvale, and Mary Hannon of San Francisco; and many others relatives in Bakersfield, Canada and Italy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paolo in 1973. Pallbearers will be Gary, Stephen, Laurence, George, Eugenio and Marino Ceccarelli. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Ceccarelli.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
