Kathleen (Peterson) Anger

Kathleen (Peterson) Anger, 92, of Milton passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. She died as a result of a fractured hip that she suffered one week ago. Kathleen was born October 2, 1920 in Baldwin County, Alabama to Clifford and Eva (Pierce) Peterson. She was a long-time member of Brownsville Baptist Church. In 1941, she married James Allen Anger, Sr. They were happily married for 68 years, before Mr. Anger's passing March 2010. They had two sons, James A. Anger, Jr. and Andy Adrian Anger. Together with son Jim and daughter-in-law Carolyn they owned and operated Anger Wrecker Service and Paint and Body Shop in the Brownsville community. Kathleen was a very hard worker, taking excellent care of her children, home and yard. She always had beautiful flowers in her yard. Due to failing health, she became a resident of Baptist Manor in July 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford, Eva and Forest Peterson; husband, James; brothers, Clyde, Carl, Charlie, William "Willie" and Thomas and one sister, Marie Watt.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 3:00pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor John Pavlus officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Brownsville Baptist Church in her memory.
