She was highly esteemed by all who knew her and her death has cast a gloom over the entire community in which she lived. She was just nearing her twenty-second birthday and was to have been married in a short time but death has stilled her intentions. It is hoped that she has gone to receive her reward in the new world which she justly earned during her short stay here on earth.
The funeral took place Monday and the remains were interred in the Centerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Colman, mother of the deceased, was called to Chico by the death of her brother, Zion Moore, and taken sick there. She was, therefore, unable to be with her daughter during her last sickness and death.
