Negro League Baseball Player. He was a catcher for the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants of the Negro National League. After baseball he became a stonemason. He eventually began teaching high school masonary classes. In his 60's he went to college and earned a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in education in order to be a better teacher. He died at 88 yeas of age.
