Sunda Harper Holman, 63, of Twin Falls, died on Friday, August 3, 2001, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1938, in Rigby Idaho, the daughter of Murray Charles and Cordelia Bright Harper. She attended school in Rigby and graduated from Moses Lake High School, Moses Lake, Washington, in June of 1956. On January 10, 1959, she married Jerry Duane Holman in Moses Lake. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 22, 1960. They lived in several states until arriving in Twin Falls in 1965 where her husband went to work for White Mortuary. Sunda worked for the College of Southern Idaho for twelve years and for White Mortuary for eight years.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Belles Lettres Literary Guild and member and past president of The Twentieth Century Club.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Duane Holman of Twin Falls; two much-loved sons, Darren Lorin Holman of Los Angeles, California, and Shawn Murray Holman of Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Murray Duane (Jean) Harper of Rigby Idaho, and Michael C. (Brenda) Harper of Boise, Idaho; one sister Roeann Harper of Mesa, Arizona; her father, Murray Charles Harper of Twin Falls; five nieces, three nephews and many loyal and loved friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cordelia Bright Harper, and one grand-niece, Gillian Lee Elkins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Twin Falls 15th Ward, Kimberly Stake building, 3857 N 3500 E., Kimberly, Idaho. Friends may call at White Mortuary from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2001. The family will greet friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at White Mortuary, and on Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, Rigby, Idaho on Wednesday, August 8, 2001, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Idaho Regional Cancer Center.
