Services for Mrs. Ada Shipp, 90, who died in a Lufkin hospital after a long illness, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. H. Dolphus officiating and burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Shipp was born in Hemphill, and lived in Lufkin for the past 34 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors: sons, Woodie E. of Detroit, Mich., and Taylor V. of San Francisco, CA., brother, N. W. Thomas of Dallas; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
