Died, in the village of Shullsburg, Wis., on Saturday April 10, 1886, Mary Trebilcock, aged 75 years, 1 month and 4 days.
The deceased was a native of Cornwall, England, which country she left for America thirty six years ago. She resided four years in the State of Virginia, thirteen years on Lake Superior and nineteen years in this vicinity.
Two sons and four daughters remain to mourn the loss of a mother: John Trebilcock, Marmaduke Trebilcock and Mrs. John Peebles of this place. One daughter, Mrs. J.H. Harris, resides in Pennsylvania, another, Mrs. Wm. Bennallack in Colorado, and another Mrs. Geo. Jacka on Lake Superior. The husband M.D. Trebilcock died in this village six years ago.
The funeral took place from the residence of her daughter Mrs. John Peebles, where she was tenderly cared for during her sickness. The services were held at the M.E. church by Rev. John Harris and the remains were interred in Evergreen cemetery.
Previous to her last sickness she was unusually strong and active for one of her age but for the last four months she has been a great sufferer from neurologic affections of the stomach and other organs.
