Mrs. Fox Killed In Auto Crash
Rites On Tuesday At Kane Home in Clarksfield.
Wakeman, July 20 - (Special) - Mrs. Viola Fox, 59, was killed instantly and her husband was injured, when the automobile in which they were riding collided with a truck, one mile east of Dover Center on Route 20, Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Fox were on their way to visit their daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Kane, Clarksfield, at the time of the accident. The Fox family lived in Cleveland on Edmunds Avenue.
Alvin E. Fox, the husband, was discharged from Lakewood Hospital Saturday. The Fox car overturned following the crash and caught fire.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fox will be held from the home of the daughter, Mrs. Kane in Clarksfield, at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. A. F. Lindbeck, pastor of the Wakeman Congregational Church officiating.
Interment will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.,
