Virginia, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility.
Funeral Services for Virginia were held on Wednesday, December 5, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Fr. Loren Kalinowski and Mr. John Strazanac officiating. There was a Prayer Service Tuesday evening.

Virginia, the oldest of twelve children, was born to Charles and Agnes(Grisdale) Gross. She married Howard L. Jackson on June 13, 1946.
Virginia was a homemaker and had also previously worked at Sears, Fortino Market and Coca-Cola. Virginia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and the Quilting Guild. She was a skilled knitter and quilter.
She leaves behind a legacy of beautiful quilts which she made sure each grandchild will enjoy and remember "Gramma J" for many years. Virginia enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo and was an avid Piston and Tigers fan.
Virginia is survived by her children, Mike (Lisa) Jackson of Weidman, Barb Stegman of Traverse City, Jim (Emily) Jackson of Mt. Pleasant, Steve (Yvonne) Jackson of Mt. Pleasant, Dave (Kristy Fairbanks) Jackson of Shepherd, Tim (Jim McKeon) Jackson of St. Charles, son-in-law Tom (Lori) Clute of Traverse City; 19 grandchildren, Chris, Jennifer, Carrie, Michele, Eric, Jason, Erin, Molly, Morgan, Colt, Beth, Kyle, Kevin, Scott, Lori, Jill, Stephanie, Leslie and Danielle; 12 great-grandchildren, Isabel, Simon, Seth, Elijah, Jacob, Andrew, Kiplin, Oliver, Jackson, Sean, Greta and Vivian; brothers, Don (June) Gross of Littlefield Lake and Larry (Donna) Gross of Lake Isabella; sisters Marilyn Losey of Lake Isabella, Joanne Cochran of Lake Isabella, Carol Thomas of Pennsylvania, Sandy (John) Strazanac of Grand Haven, and Charlene (Ron Fellows) Gross of Lake Isabella; sister-in-law Jan Gross of Mt.
