Funeral services for Leota Brown, 87, of Seminole, will be conducted Friday, March 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., in the Westside Church of Christ, with Rob Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Mrs. Brown passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Lubbock. Mrs. Brown was born February 20, 1925, in Fox, Oklahoma, to Alvie and Fannie Fore. Leota Fore and Berry "B.K." Brown were married March 1, 1952, in Odessa. Berry and Leota established Liquid Transport in 1977 and later B&L Brine Sales and Mud Rental and Sales, retiring in 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berry, in February 2012; one son; one brother; and three sisters. She is survived by four daughters, Peggy Henderson of Hobbs, Terry Milavec of Arlington, Lori Barnes and husband, Roger "Rocky" of Seminole, and Lacy Wilkerson and husband, Keith Michael of Midland; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzhiemers Foundation.
