Mr. Brown was born on October 3, 1925 in Floydada, Texas to Pete Brown and Lena May Isom. He served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946. He married Leota Floyce Fore on March 1, 1952 in Odessa, Texas. Berry established Liquid Transport in 1977 and later B&L Brine Sales and Mud Rental and Sales retiring in 2000. He was named Oilman of the Year in Gaines County in 2000 and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
Survivors include his wife, Leota Brown; four daughters, Peggy Henderson of Hobbs, Terri Milavec of Arlington, Lori Barnes and husband Roger Rocky of Seminole and Lacy Wilkerson and husband Keith Michael of Midland; 12 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
There will be a family visitation Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ratliff Funeral Home in Seminole. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association .
