The Greenwood Commonwealth, Sept. 25, 2008: TUPELO - Services for Kim Denton Brown of Tupelo will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Williams and Lord Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brown, 43, died of an aneurysm Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in Grenada.

Mrs. Brown, a homemaker, was born in Mark Tree, Ark., and was a graduate of Greenwood High. She attended Itawamba Community College in Fulton. She was a former resident of Greenwood and lived in Tupelo for the past 10 years. She was a member of the Orchard Church in Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Denton, and her brother, Jeff Denton.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Lanny Brown Sr., of Tupelo; her mother and stepfather, Yancey and LaVerne DeLapp Jr., of Carrollton; three daughters, Taylor Brown of Tupelo, Dianne King of Memphis and Cindy Brown of Memphis; her son, Lanny Brown Jr., of Horn Lake; three sisters, Renee Jenkins of Carrollton, Judy Baker of Millington, Tenn., and D'De Beckwith of Carrollton; her brother, Rodney Denton of Carrollton; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; two great-nephews; her maternal grandmother, Cascille Baker, of Dickson, Tenn., and seven grandchildren.

The Rev. Jeff Gilder will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Kevin Byers, Connie Brown, Glen Kuykendall, Andrew Sanford, Michael Bruce and Mike Harbinson. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Jenkins, Todd Baker, Al Baker, Chris Baker and Wayne Baker.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
