It is on lands once owned by George Ford, and where deeds show George Ford resided at the time of his death. Before George Ford, the land belonged to William Goodyear. It is across the field from the site where the old Graham house stood on the hill, until the house was moved in the late 1980s. It is just across the field and through the woods from the old James Roberts home (Josephine Shooter's father) which (Roberts Home) is on the old middle road to Nichols (Rabbit Island Road).
A neighbor stated that his mother said the old road used to run past the cemetery. It is in a wooded area that juts out from the rest of the nearby woods. It is difficult to access, as it is surrounded by large fenced fields that enclose large numbers of cows.
Permission MUST be obtained to visit.
Specific directions by Harry A. Jones in his survey of the cemetery, published in the Dillon Cemetery Book:
"Dillon Co., 1/6 mile East of Road S-17-74, 4-1/4 Miles South of Lake View, 1/3 Miles North of Dillon-Marion Co. Line."
This cemetery description posted to Findagrave by Jo Church Dickerson, June 2016.
