Rockland Township: From the eastern end of the Pricetown Rd.
at New Jerusalem, sharp right onto Lobachsville Rd. 1.3 miles, then left on Schweitz Rd. 1 1/4 miles to cemetery, in triangular clump of trees approximately 20 yards from the road, with a field on the downhill side and a new
development of 5 building lots on the uphill side. Size: 28' x 28'
History: Adam Ruppert received the patent May 22, 1812 from his father-in-law. Caspar Ruppert,
father of Adam, immigrated on /"", the ship Europa in 1741 at the age of 29 and died after 1789, presumably in Rockland Township. Adam Ruppert, 1755- 1830, married Barbara
Zimmerman and they had 11 children.
Gravemarkers and inscriptions: 6 inscribed stones 5 fieldstones
