After a brief illness with pneumonia, Mrs. Grace Merrill, wife of Andrew Merrill, died at her home on half mile north of Pickard, just west of Kempton, Friday evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral was held at the Hills Church, sunday morning. Rev. Williams was in charge and intement took place at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Merrill was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Cunningham. She was about 45 years old. She was a native of Clinton County and had lived here all her life. She was the mother of 11 children, ten of whom survive. Her mother also survives.
