They had 10 children: Alvie, Annie, Harry, Joseph, John, Charles, Effie, Bertha, Leslie and Jacob.
Her son Leslie S. Zeger was killed in WW1 and is buried in France. There is a memorial marker for Leslie right beside Emeline and Jeremiah's headstone to the left.
Emeline is buried in Fairview Cemetery in Mercersburg, Pa. with her husband and two daughters, Bertha and Annie.
Interesting to note that I found Emeline, listed as "Emma" in the 1910 census. She was living with her husband and 6 of their children. Emeline supposedly died in 1905, but I never confirmed dod except by the date on the stone. In the 1910 census it lists yrs married as 36. Her age matches, location and names of the children and her husband. Error of dod on the stone? A mystery I'm still trying to solve...
Emeline is my great great grandmother.
