Abilene Reporter News, Sun, 11 Apr 1965, Front Page - Mrs. Nancy V. McBee, 103, died at Hendrick Memorial Hosp. about 9 pm Sat. after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home at 430 Victoria. Funeral arrangements are pending at Elliott's Funeral Home. Mrs. McBee was born in Marlin, 8 Feb 1862. She attended school in Bremond. She married John McBee in Breman in 1881. The couple moved to Wichita Falls in 1917 & then to Abilene in 1919. Her husband preceded her in death in 1934. she was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include 2daus: Mrs. Bessie Harris & Mrs. Alpha Allen, both of 430 Victoria; 2half-sis: Mrs. Dolly Ponder - Waco & Mrs. Dovie Eaves-Breman; 2half-bros: Oma Otwell-Waco & Jim Otwell - Breman. 5 gch, 5 greatgch & one great-great-gch.
