John Forrest Otwell, 67, long-time resident of the Yuba-Sutter area, died Saturday in a Yuba City hospital.
A native of Bremond, Tex., he had lived in this area sonce 1924. He was a labor contractor. His home in Yuba City was at 126 Percy Ave.
Survivors include his wife, Addie, of Yuba City; a daughter, Mrs. Iva Evans of Yuba City; a son, E. E. Otwell of Stockton; two brothers, Jim and Ommie?, both of Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Donnie Morgan of Long Beach and Mrs. Dollie Ponder, Mrs. Rushie Gossett and Mrs. Debbie Eves of Texas; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Ullrey Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Howard Daulton, pastor of Yuba City First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sutter Cemetery.
