Mrs. Baliva had been a Springfield resident since 1919. She was a homemaker and member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Alter and Rosary Society, St. Anthony's Study Club and the Navy Mothers.
Survivors: four daughters, Pia Kuhn, Mrs. Fred (Pearl) Davis, Mrs. Phillip (Concetta) Rath and Mrs. Lucio (Corinda) Polino, all of Springfield; 16 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Concelebrated funeral Mass: St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Rev. John Titus and the Rev. Donald Meehling officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
