INDIANAPOLIS– Adolph R. Stucker, age 68, died Sunday, December 28, 2008. Born on November 7, 1940 in Butler County, Mo, he was the son of Willard "Lee" and Mabel (Jones) Stucker.
Mr. Stucker graduated from high school in Fisk, MO, in 1958 and worked at P.R. Mallory as an accounts receivable specialist for over 30 years before retiring in 2005. He married Nancy Looney on May 23, 1963.
Mr. Stucker loved gardening and music. He also loved visiting the river boat, the horse track, and Las Vegas.
Surviving him are his children, Belinda (Mike) Hull of Fortville and Kim (David) Smithey of Indianapolis; twin brother, Rudolph A. (Sharon) Stucker of Indianapolis; brother, Joe Haley Stucker of Ft. Wayne; sisters, Dorothy Barnes of Poplar Bluff, MO, Gladys Crawford of Fisk, MO, and Patty Beaujean of Springfield, MO; brother in law, Robert Pumphery; grandchildren, Angela (Tony) Kessler, Stephanie Hull, Tabitha Hull, and Tyler Smithey; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn and baby brother Kessler. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Nancy; sister, Anna Elizabeth Pumphery; and brother, James Stucker.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Paul Enyart will be officiating and burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
