WILLIAM KIRKPATRICK
William Kirkpatrick, 76, of 204 Chestnut St., Christopher, died Friday in Minors Hospital in Christopher. He was born July 17, 1898, in Christopher to William and Tricey House Kirkpatrick. He was married to Bonnie Britton.
He was a member of the UMWA No. 1545. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Vernell Davis and Mrs. Marie Burnham, both of Christopher; a son Robert Eugene of Christopher; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A son preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with the Rev. Richard Lance officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
