Vallie Rayburn Overturf, 84, August 17, 1989.
Born October 3, 1904 at Steele, Missouri he was the eldest child of Andrew J. and Gussie Wallace Overturf. A graduate of the University of Missouri. He was a member of the Steele graduating class of 1923.

For many years he owned and operated Walgreen Agency Drug stores in Malden, MO. and Bernie, MO. After retiring from active management he moved to Hot Springs. When his and his wife's health began to fail they moved to Springdale to be near their daughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude.

He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Judy)Hayes of Springfield, one sister, Mrs. Leonard (Mildred) Cassidy, of
Colona, Mich; one brother, Lt.Col Andrew J. Overturf of Fort Walton Beach, Fla, two grandchildren and several step-children.

Funeral and burial were in Hot Springs.
