For Jean's 50th birthday, which she was a little down about turning the big 5-0, a male dancer with his jukebox playing was sent to her office to surprise her. Snapshots were taken and Jean was given copies to take with her that night to her husband's business dinner to share with their friends. Jean and I shared that day and laughed many times afterwards.

Jean was born in Howland, TX, the daughter of the late Wes and Goldie Stanley of Cooper, TX. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Huie of Richardson, two sons Steven Wayne Huie of Coppell, TX and William Scott Huie of Montgomery, TX, two brothers Vernon W. Stanley of Tyler, TX and William A. Stanley of Kingwood, TX and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Janie D. Stanley Buster of Paris, TX, and brother James Walter Stanley of Cooper, TX. Jean had a passion for her many years in accounting, but her true and enduring love was for her children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2:00PM at Arapaho United Methodist Church, Richardson, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name for ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) research through the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

A graveside service was conducted in Cooper, Texas at 5pm, all who attended the funeral service, was invitated to attend.

Note: I will add more personal photos.
