Giuseppe Valentino, an Italian immigrant to the United States of America, was born July 26, 1873 in the small town of Buccino, in the Province of Salerno located in the Campania region of Italy.

Giuseppe was born in the town his family originated, "a small town called Buccino in the Province of Salerno", stated Giuseppe's great-granddaughter Catherine S. who shared this information in an email to GWTWQUEENIE on October 23, 2019, about her great-grandfather.

He died on March 24, 1951 in Newark, New Jersey and was buried on March 27, 1951 in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 125 Central Avenue, East Orange, New Jersey, in Section W, Lot 491, Grave 17.

Joseph was survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Rosina Morello-Valentino, who was also called Rosa or Rosie, who was born in 1877 in Italy. She died on December 29, 1961 in Newark, New Jersey and was buried with her beloved Joseph on January 2, 1962 in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 125 Central Avenue, East Orange, New Jersey.

Buried in this grave with Joseph and Rosina is their son Antonio Valentino born 1903 in Newark, New Jersey and died 1918 in Newark, New Jersey. He was just 15 years old.

Anthony Zirpoli, who 10 years old when he died (1920-1930), Giuseppe and Rosina's grandson, the son of their second daughter Lucy Valentino-Zirpoli and son-in-law Joseph Mario is also buried with Giuseppe and Rosina Valentino. Anthony's parents Lucy Valentino-Zirpoli and Joseph Mario Zirpoli who are buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in New Jersey.

Lucy, also known as Lucia Valentino-Zirpoli, was born in 1901 and died in 1957 in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her husband Joseph Mario Zirpoli was born in Salvitelle, Italy on May 7, 1886 and died July 1970 in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
