Shepard Hollingsworth, a son of Wright Hollingsworth, deceased, who resided 3 miles west of town, died shortly after 12 o'clock on Wednesday last, after an illness of 10 weeks. The deceased was a young man 23 years of age, and very highly respected by his neighbors and acquaintances. He was strictly temperate in his habits, honest, and industrious, and lead an exemplary life. His funeral took place on Thursday last and was respectably attended by his young associates and friends. His remains were interred in the Thomas Cemetery.
